I took these pictures at my friend Grace's house.  Her little son just turned 1!  She loves to capture lots of pictures of him, and of course this time he wasn't opposed to it as that meant he would get to eat cake!

Another Lightning Strikes!

Again tonight, we had another storm.

July Storm

This week has been a gorgeous week.  The weather has been in the 80s.  However, around 8:30 tonight the house rocked with lightning and thunder.  Also, to accompany the storm was a heavy but short hail storm and pouring rain.

I didn't have my camera in time for the hail, but managed to capture some of the rain and a few strikes of lightning.

Nisqually Wildlife Refuge

My brother and I went on a walk with another brother and his family.  The evening was very pleasant and the lighting was perfect.  We enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the refuge and caught sight of a few birds.  My little niece loved being outdoors.
